THIS IS MORE THAN A PANTRY

I learnt to cook.
I still missed Amma’s food.

I moved to the USA as a student. I learnt my way around a kitchen.
But the warmth of Amma’s cooking was something I couldn’t recreate.

INDIA
USA
A TRUE STORY. OUR STORY.

A new country.

LEARNING TO LIVE AWAY

I could make a meal.
But not like her.

I came to the USA without knowing how to cook. Slowly, I learnt. But even when I got a meal right, it was missing the taste and warmth of the food Amma used to make.

Cooking was a skill. Home was a feeling.
02
THE MEAL I WAS MISSING

Then I started
skipping breakfast.

I was figuring out life on my own. Somewhere along the way, breakfast disappeared from my day completely. Learning to cook wasn’t quite the same as learning to look after myself.

Far from home, even the little things feel different.
03
AMMA HAD SOMETHING IN MIND

She sent food.
I felt her care.

Pulihora paste. Multigrain instant dosa powder. Instant pongali. Instant upma. Amma sent the familiar foods I could make for myself, with zero preservatives in those instant foods.

She couldn’t be there. Her food could.
04
WHAT WAS REALLY INSIDE

Love. Warmth.
Looking after me.

For me, home food is also about health: Amma’s care for how you’re eating. That feeling belongs in our laddus and podis too. Familiar food. A little less distance. A connection to home.

A NOTE FROM HER SON

“I missed her cooking.
I was missing her care.

Learning to cook helped me feed myself. Amma’s food reminded me what it felt like to be looked after. That’s the feeling we want to share with you.

With love, her son.అమ్మ
AMMA’S PROMISE

CARE THAT GOES BEYOND THE KITCHEN

Good food deserves
thoughtful packaging.

Our commitment is to eco-friendly, food-safe packaging, chosen with care for your food and what we leave behind.

Eco-friendly by intention.

We’re sourcing biodegradable packaging and seeking compostability certification for the complete finished pouch. Final materials and disposal instructions will be shared once confirmed.

Made for the food inside.

We’re selecting food-contact materials suited to each recipe, with protection against moisture and grease, and freezer suitability for Upma and Pongali.

Packaging selection and supplier checks are in progress. The pouches shown are design concepts.
